MEMORIAL ANDREA GROSSI
FOR UNDER 16 GIRLS NATIONAL TEAMS - FIRST DAY

It starts Memorial Andrea Grossi in Asti’s Palasanquirico, last test tournament for some of 16 national teams that from july 30th to august 8th will play in European Championship for Under 16 girls in Piedmont.

Before the tournament, there was a friendly match between Italy and Spain, rest teams in teh first day of Memorial Grossi. Italy lost 91-65, but the match was balanced for three quarter (16-23, 41-40, 56-64). At the end of the match, coach Amedeo D’Antoni said: “The team wasn’t so “deep” as I wait, but if we consider that we haven’t Crosi and Fassina, two of probably starting five, the valuation change”.

In the first day of the tournament, great impression from east Europe national teams, phisically very strong: Poland won easly against Greece a Czech Republic won at the sprint a beatiful match against France.
