ITALY UNDER 16 GIRLS NATIONAL TEAM:
THE GROUP REDUCED FROM 19 TO 14 PLAYERS

Italy Under 16 girls national team played two friendly matches in the last weekend.

They won the first match, Saturday, against Pallacanestro Torino (national third division) 92-68. Italy of coach D’Antoni won also second test match, Sunday, against Auxilium Torino (national third division) 71-59.

After one week training and two test matches, coach Amedeo D'Antoni reduced – as in the program – the number of the players from 19 to 14.

They are out of the group that will continue to train until the start of European Championship: Patrizia De Gianni, Gloria Vian, Elena Vavotici, Claudia Colombo e Stefania Russi. De Gianni, the highest player of italian national team, is also the lonely girl that can’t played ever a test match: she was injured from the first day of training.
